How to use an Oodie discount code
Just head to the checkout when you’re ready and you’ll find a “Discount code or gift card” field in the order summary where you can put your code and click “Apply” to update your order. You might need to scroll a bit to find this field, but it’s right before the “Pay Now” button.

You can also find it in the “Order Summary” dropdown at the top of your mobile screen. Or, on desktop, the discount code field is on the right side.
The Oodie is perhaps one of the most famous wearable blankets on the market. Made from a soft fleecy material to keep you warm all day long, it’s easy to see why it’s such a cult product.

Can I use multiple discount codes on a single order with The Oodie?
Unfortunately, you can only use one code per order, which is pretty standard for most online stores.
How do I know if The Oodie code is valid?
The discount will show up in your order summary after you click apply. But if that doesn’t happen, check that the code is correct and that it can be applied to what you’re buying. The Oodie actually says that “some codes will only work for specific products like Oodies or Sleep Tees” (and we’ll include any important info here).
What if there’s no discount code?
Good news – The Oodie also has promotions and discounts that don’t require a code. These are automatically applied at the checkout. To save you time wondering, we also only include detail of a code if there is one.
How Woman’s Day finds the best discount codes and deals for The Oodie
Our deals team have years of experience hunting down the best discount codes, sales and other promotions that can help make your money go further. Our hands-on approach includes keeping an eye on The Oodie website, newsletters, social media and other sources to find the latest discount codes and other deals. We then test each one before it’s added here, and remove expired deals so you can use whatever deal you click on.
3 different ways to score more savings with The Oodie
- Subscribe to the newsletter: You get a 10% discount when you sign up for The Oodie’s newsletter. It’s a simple way to save on your first purchase and means you’ll be the first to hear about the latest Oodie releases, sales and more.
- Shop the clearance section: You can save big on The Oodie clearance items – there was nothing over $49 when we checked, for example. Just keep in mind that stock could be limited and sell out quickly, especially at these prices.
- Become an Oodie Ambassador: If you’ve got a nice following on social media, you could get store credits, gifts and other perks as an Oodie Ambassador.
When are the best Oodie sales?
We’ve spotted some big Oodie discounts and deals during peak shopping periods like Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Boxing Day and EOFY.
But you can also save when The Oodie has its own sales and promotions. For example, Oodie had a “spend and save” deal running at the time of writing, which offered a 20% discount if you bought two items and 30% off if you bought three, for select products on the site. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for all the latest deals, so you can always check back here to save time hunting for a bargain.
Does The Oodie have free shipping?
Yes, you’ll get free standard shipping in Australia when you spend at least $100 with The Oodie.
When you add something to your cart, you’ll also get details of how close you are to unlocking free shipping. But if you don’t quite get there, you can check the delivery cost at the checkout. To give you an idea, standard shipping was $9.99 when we checked addresses in Sydney, Adelaide, WA and regional NSW.
Can I return an Oodie?
The Oodie returns policy gives you 30 days from the date you receive your order to make a return for free. Just keep in mind that the item has to be “as new”, which basically means it needs to be in its original packaging with all tags and other features still attached.
You also need to take a photo of it before returning it so The Oodie “can assess the condition” – something we haven’t seen very often for online returns (but it does make sense).
So if you’ve got something, just tried it on and decided you don’t want it, that’s probably fine. But if you’ve worn, washed or taken tags off, you might want to contact support through the app. You can also check out The Oodie’s return policy for full details.
The Oodie’s origin story
From high school side hustles to a $600 million empire, Davie Fogarty’s journey to founding The Oodie is as cosy as the product itself. Growing up in Adelaide, Davie got a taste for entrepreneurship during his primary school years.
“I would jump the fence at midday, bake cookies, then come back to school at the end of the day and try and sell them to teachers,” Fogarty said in an interview with Forbes Australia.
“I always wanted to be rich,” he added. And things started heading in that direction quickly after he launched The Oodie in 2018. This oversized, wearable blanket quickly became a viral sensation, with over 8 million of them sold to date.
Davie’s continued to grow The Oodie, alongside other businesses he’s founded, and at the age of 30 is the youngest investor on Shark Tank Australia.
