Is there a BWS coupon code for first-time orders?
BWS may sometimes run promotions with a coupon code discount for first orders, but at the moment there isn’t one. We’ll keep our eye out and add any here, though, so be sure to check back.
How Woman’s Day picks the best BWS coupon codes and deals
Our dedicated deals team draws on years of experience to find the best BWS coupon code promotions, sales and other ways to save. This includes regularly checking the BWS website, socials, newsletters and other sources, then testing each code and deal before adding the most valuable ones here. We also read the fine print and remove deals when they expired, so what you see here is what you can actually get.
For anyone who’s dairy-intolerant, vegan or felt their skin crawl when they realised they were drinking fish bladder gelatine [used in some wines]… there are also plenty of wines that use plant-based fining agents including carbon, bentonite clay and limestone just to name a few. And to make things even better, these wines aren’t super expensive and hard to buy. In fact you can just pop into your local BWS and see for yourself.

Shopping hack: How to get $10 off your shop at BWS
One of the simplest ways to save on your BWS orders is actually by joining the Everyday Rewards program. If you shop at Woolworths, you’re probably already a member (or have seen the orange cards and logos a LOT).
This free loyalty program earns you 1 point per $1 at BWS, Woolworths, Big W, participating EG Ampol locations and other partners. Every 2000 points gets you $10 Everyday Rewards dollars, which you can redeem at BWS (or another partner).
BWS also offers exclusive Everyday Rewards benefits to members, with 10% off wine when you buy six or more bottles, and your tenth longneck fee when you scan your membership card. Plus member specials and other offers.
3 more tips to save at BWS
- Shop the specials: You can check out the latest specials on the BWS site to save on different types of drinks. To give you an idea, when we checked, you could save $10 if you bought two bottles of Gordon’s Dry Gin, $5.50 off Aperol Spritz bottles and $10 on I Am George Shiraz.
- Get the app: BWS offers exclusive “Appy Deals” (get it?) through the app, which can save you even more. For example, we found Pure Blonde Ultra Low Carb bottles for $18 in the app compared to $22 on the site (a saving of $4) and a $5 discount on Aperol compared to the price on site ($34 instead of $39).
- Free delivery offer: You can get free delivery with BWS when you spend $130 or more online or in the app. Otherwise, there’s a flat fee of $10 – or free click and collect from a store.
How fast is BWS delivery?
BWS offers same-day delivery for most orders, and also has a 7-day calendar so you can choose a different date if you’re planning ahead.
Who owns BWS?
BWS, along with “rival” Dan Murphy’s, is owned by Endeavour Group, which describe themselves as “Australia’s largest retail drinks network and portfolio of licensed hotels”. But you might be surprised to know its origins as a cosy Cabramatta corner store that was started in 2001.
Now, BWS has become a go-to for, well, beer, wine and spirits. It has over 1400 stores nationwide, including some with drive-thru, as well as click‑and‑collect and delivery. Some BWS drive-thrus were even open on Christmas Day last year.
As well as sibling Dan Murphy, BWS, competes fiercely with Coles-owned Liquorland and First Choice Liquor when it comes to value and variety. Its Everyday Rewards partnership also means you can get extra value with points as you spend and other member-only offers.
The brand has also engaged with the Aussie community in different ways, like with least year’s AFL partnership. Or the 2021 Local Luvva campaign, which supported Aussie craft brewers, winemakers and distillers affected by bushfires and floods. This actually led to a 20% surge in local-product sales, according to industry reports at the time. And there seems to always be something interesting or new on the BWS socials (where we keep an eye out for deals to share with you).
