Your guide to Amazon promo codes and deals

From walking pads and stick vacs to fitness trackers, beauty buys and homeware – if you’ve thought about buying it, Amazon probably has it. But it’s not always the easiest site to find what you want. That’s why we’re giving you a shortcut to savings with our edit of the best Amazon promo code and product offers – tested by us – so you can shop right now.

How to use an Amazon promo code at the checkout

  1. Add the code: When you reach the payment section, scroll past the a list of available cards to pay with (or the option to add one), click on “Enter a gift card or promotional code”, enter the code and click “Apply” to update your order.
  2. Click on a deal here: You’ll get key details of the offer and can copy the promo code (if there is one). And to save you time, a new window will open to the relevant product or section on Amazon.
  3. Add what you want to cart: When you’ve got all the products you want, click on the cart and you’ll be asked to login (if you’re not already) and go to the checkout.

How to add an Amazon promo code on a product page

Sometimes you might find an Amazon promo code when you’re looking at a particular product on the site. When that happens, you usually just need to click “Apply” next to the coupon to activate it before adding it to cart and going through the checkout process.

What is the AMAZONUK25 code?

This was a promo code for customers in the UK that offered £5 off an order of £25 when the code AMAZONUK25 was entered at the checkout.

But it expired in 2023, and wouldn’t have worked in Australia anyway. This actually brings up an important point about Amazon promo codes – if you search for them online, keep in mind that some codes may be for Amazon stores in other countries, not Australia. An easy way to avoid this is to check Amazon or come back here for promo codes and deals that actually work.

How Woman’s Day chooses these Amazon promo codes and deals

Our dedicated deals team have years of experience finding (and using) valuable offers – not to mention spending a ridiculous amount of time on Amazon. So to save you losing hours to an endless scroll, we draw on our skills and resources – including checking the Amazon site and other sources – to find the best promo codes and deals. We also test each one before adding it here, and remove expired deals so it’s easy for you to get what you want.

This year’s extended Prime Day event delivered incredible savings to our members across millions of deals… We’re thrilled to see record savings for our customers, who found great prices on the everyday essentials and products they love.

Shopping hack: Amazon Prime benefits that can help you save more

Amazon’s subscription service, Prime, costs $9.99 a month and unlocks free (and fast) delivery for a huge range of products on the site.

To put this in perspective, delivery usually starts from $7.99 per eligible order (or $3.99 if you’re just getting books). It can also cost more if you’re outside Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra or Adelaide.

If it’s shipped from an international seller, including Amazon US or UK, you can get free shipping if you spend over $59 – with no minimum spend for Prime members. Otherwise, the shipping prices will be shown at the checkout.

Prime membership also offers discounted priority delivery (if free delivery isn’t offered for an order), and other benefits including:

  • Exclusive access to Amazon Prime Day deals and other member-only offers
  • Early access to Lightning Deals, which only last for a limited time
  • Prime Video’s catalogue of popular movies and TV shows
  • Free games and a free monthly Twitch channel subscription through Prime Games
  • Ad-free music and podcasts
  • Thousands of e-books, comics and more

Is Amazon Prime membership worth it?

Amazon Prime membership offers the most value to people who regularly shop on the site and/or want to stream some of the most popular movies and shows out there. This includes critically acclaimed and fan favourite Amazon Original The Boys, Reacher, Mr. & Mrs Smith and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

When I first got Amazon Prime a few years ago, it was mostly for the streaming – not the shopping. But now, I easily get as much value from free shipping and exclusive Prime member deals on Amazon.

Amy Bradney-George, Deals Editor

For example, some of this year’s Prime Day deals offered over 70% off the recommended retail prices of new tech gear, fitness, fashion, homeware and more. I actually saved a lot of money on pantry staples, as well as a few bigger-ticket items like an electric blanket this winter, and a dehumidifier a couple of years ago.

Having said that, everyone’s different. Someone who only shops on Amazon a couple of times a year and doesn’t want another streaming service might find that Prime isn’t really worth it.

But Amazon Prime does offer a free 30-day trial, which gives you a month to decide if you think it’s worth it.

Hot tip: You can also choose an annual subscription for $79, which would save you $40.88 compared to paying the $9.99 monthly subscription fee for a year.

How often does Amazon have sales?

Amazon Australia has discounts and deals that are updated every day. You can filter by category, brand, price and even ratings, with some limited-time deals even showing how many people have claimed them. For example, I saw the Ecovacs Deebot T3 Omni robot vacuum discounted by 54% and, at the time of writing, Amazon said it was 20% claimed. And had 52% claimed the Seoul 1988 Serum with retinol and black ginseng, which was 15% off.

But Amazon goes hard during major sales, including EOFY, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Boxing Day. Plus Amazon’s own sales, including:

  • Prime Big Day Deals: This Amazon Prime member sale usually runs in the second half of the year and offers great deals for members. It hasn’t been announced for 2025 but last year ran from October 8 to 13 in Australia.
  • Amazon Australia Big Smile Sale: Usually runs for several days in March or April, and this year had deals like 40% off the Breville Barista Express espresso machine and 55% off L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler.
  • Prime Day: This member-only sale usually runs in July and offers deals in just about every category you could imagine. In 2025, we had the longest Prime Day to date, with huge savings from Tuesday, July 8 to Monday, July 14.
