Last year, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter Sunday Rose made her modelling debut at Paris Fashion Week.
The then 16-year-old walked the runway for fashion brand Miu Miu. Since then she’s taken on a variety of modelling jobs and seems to be thriving in the industry.

WHEN DID SUNDAY ROSE KIDMAN URBAN START MODELLING?
In 2024, Sunday Rose modelled in Miu Miu’s Paris Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show, wearing a white dress and grey leg warmers.
It’s believed Nicole watched on as her daughter walked on the catwalk, and she later shared photos of Sunday Rose to her Instagram stories, along with three love hearts to showcase her pride.
Following the event, the mother-daughter duo went on to attend the brand’s official dinner party together.
Earlier in June 2024, Nicole and Sunday attended Balenciaga’s Paris show side-by-side, looking the spitting image of each other in black ensembles and dark sunglasses.
They also made a stunning appearance together at Omega’s “Her Time” event in July.
WHAT HAS NICOLE SAID ABOUT HER DAUGHTER’S MODELLING CAREER?
Sunday Rose has been eager to start modelling for many years now, and Nicole previously stated she was waiting until she was old enough to take her daughter to a fashion show.
“She’s about to turn 16,” the actress told Victoria Beckham in a Vogue Australia interview in September 2023. “That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.
“That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like, ‘No, no more.’ It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her,” she shared.
Nicole clearly stuck to her promise, as Sunday turned 16 in July last year.
Her dad, Keith Urban, told PEOPLE that he was “very proud” of his daughter for making her runway debut, but also shared some concerns he has in regards to Sunday entering the industry.
“Hopefully we can just help her keep balance with everything through all of that,” the singer said. “Hopefully she’ll benefit by having two parents that know about a certain amount of celebrity.”
WHAT HAS SUNDAY ROSE SAID ABOUT HER MODELLING CAREER?
Speaking to Nylon in August 2025, the 17-year-old model said her famous parents gave her two rules when she was breaking into the industry.
“There are two big rules,” she told the publication. “The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16, and the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset.”
In a TikTok for Vogue, Sunday Rose said she uses the halls of her high school to practice her runway walk.
“Whenever I’m walking down the hallway I feel like I’m strutting down to math class,” she explained. “Everybody will be like, ‘I see you’re doing your runway walk.’ “
She also said that Miuccia Prada, the head designer of Prada and founder of Miu Miu, gave her some invaluable advice before she walked down the runway for the second time for the brand in March.
“Ms. Prada actually told me to take larger steps when you walk because it’s more elegant and you also are able to do it faster so it looks a lot better,” she explained. “I definitely do feel a lot more confident this time… I kind of feel like I’ve been able to express myself more this time.”
“The best part about Miu Miu is Mrs. Prada. She’s been so supportive of me from the very beginning, and I couldn’t be more grateful to her for giving me my first opportunity to experience modelling,” she added.
